TABLE QUIZ IN AID OF TRAMORE U14 FEILE HURLING TEAM

Tramore GAA Club will be hosting All Ireland Féile na nGael in hurling from the 17th - 19th June. To meet some of the costs in connection with this, the Club will be having a Table Quiz on Thursday 5th May at 8.30pm in the club centre. Teams of 4 €20 per team. There will be a raffle on the night with spot prizes galore. Please come along and support this event which promises to be a great night.

 

FLAG DAY

Thanks to everyone in Tramore for supporting our Annual Juvenile Club Flag Day .


HUGE HOSPICE FUNDRAISING NIGHT

Tramore’s biggest ever  ‘’Super Quiz and Know Your Sport  Night’’ will be held in the Club Centre this Saturday 7th May at 8.30pm

All proceeds go to the Irish Hospice Foundation - ‘’Nurses for Night Care Nationwide Programme’’ including Waterford, through their cycling team which has a net target of €120,000 from this year’s challenge, which will bring their overall figure raised to €1.3 million since the team was founded in 2009 for the foundation. With 4 Waterford men in the team, Stan Power(Athenaeum House Hotel - Ferrybank), Martin O’Connor (Ballygunner - Retired Principal, De La Salle College), and two Tramore men (Shane Kelly - Total Precision Ltd) & John O’Gorman (Retired Supermarketeer). This year’s cycle takes the gruelling 600km from Cenet-en-Roussillion, France to Barcelona, Spain along the beautiful coastline and via the spectacular Pyrenees.

Saturday nights event is expected to attract close on 40 tables with a huge raffle and spot prizes to be won. Open to all the public, it has a very strong backing from various Tramore businesses. For any further information please contact Shane @ 087-6832748 or John @ 087-9587328.

Friday  7-8 pm U11-12 Hurling.


LADIES FOOTBALL

U12 and U14 training Monday’s from 5pm to 6 pm.


CAMOGIE

Training on Wednesday evenings U6 to U10: 6 - 7pm, U12 & U14: 7 - 8pm, U16 U18 and Adult: 8 - 9pm


CLUB LOTTO AT FARRELL’S GARAGE

Thanks to Ruairi Connor for selling lotto tickets last Saturday. If you don't already have the opportunity to buy a ticket please come to Farrell's any Saturday and support your club and Farrell's for facilitating us.


FITNESS CLASSES

Donna Cowman Fitness Classes are in Tramore GAA Hall Monday to Saturday. The classes include Circuits, Pilates, Body Conditioning, AB Blast, Kettle Bells. CIORCAL COMHRÁ

Beidh Ciorcal Comhrá ar suil sa gClub gach Dé Ceadaoín ag a hocht a chlog sa deochlan , tae agus café agus brioscaí agus caint socíalta . Bigí linn , gach saghas leabheal fáilte .There will be an Irish language circle in the GAA Club Lounge every Wednesday at 8pm , tea and coffee and biscuits , informal chat , every level of Irish welcome.  This is a great way of getting back in touch with the Irish language in a friendly , welcoming atmosphere , just turn up and enjoy the company.


DEISE DRAW

Congratulations to Mary Corcoran, Roselawn who won €200 in the April draw held in Gaultier last Friday. Winners in our Local Members Draw were Margaret Ryan, Glen Road, Seamus Murphy, Springfield and Paddy Kelly, Springmount while Anne Bohan won the promoters prize. The next draw takes place in Fenor. Terrific prizes to be won, including the top prize of €10,000. Tickets €10 each can be got from Pat Cullen or Anne Bohan. Thanks to all who support the Deise Draw.
