EASTERN U21 HURLING FINAL

We played Portlaw in the Eastern U21 B Hurling Final last Sunday afternoon in Kill GAA Pitch. Conditions were not ideal at this time of year but both teams played an enjoyable game.  We were slow to start but came into it and scored a well taken goal. We went in at half time a point down Tramore 1-2 to Portlaw 0-6.  In the second half both teams could not be separated in what was a very close contest. Our lads thought we had the game in injury time but Portlaw scored the equalising point to bring it to extra time.  Full time score Tramore 1-7 Portlaw 0-10. After finishing level at the end of normal time, extra time could not separate both teams. Well done to all involved for the effort made in what were very poor conditions. Replay details yet to be confirmed. Full time score after extra time Tramore 1-10 Portlaw 0-13.
